Workshop Details

Take the first step toward becoming a tufting artist with our beginner class. Our 4-6 hour class covers all the basics of tufting, from setting up a tufting frame with stretched primary cloth and threading and operating tufting machines to instructions for how to cut, glue, and finish a tufted piece. Plus, you'll get to work on projects of your own design on a frame with size options that range from small to large. Free water and snacks will be provided. Participants must be 16 years or older. 𝐒𝐈𝐙𝐄𝐒 Small Size (approximately 4 hours): Participants will be provided with a small frame measuring up to 15 x 15 inches, suitable for finished pieces up to 12 x 12 inches. Medium Size (approximately 5 hours): Participants will work on the exact medium-sized frame, measuring up to 25 x 25 inches, which can accommodate finished pieces up to 22 x 22 inches. For two people, they can tuft on the same medium-size canvas. Splitting designs into two or creating multiples is possible, as long as they all fit within the finished size. Large Size (approximately 6 hours): We will provide a large frame, measuring up to 28 x 38 inches, which can accommodate finished pieces up to 22 x 32 inches. For two people, they can tuft on the same large-size canvas. Splitting designs into two or creating multiples is possible, as long as they all fit within the finished size. Wood Stool (approximately 4 hours): Tuft a 11" x 11" square or Round 11" stool cover in 2 shape options, with wood stools included.

Cancellation Policy

Please be advised you will receive a refund without processing fees (2.9% of the transaction amount + 0.30 USD) 𝗜𝗙 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗟 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡 𝟮𝟰 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚. If a cancellation is required after the 24 hours window has expired, please contact us but be aware we may not honor the cancellation. *Class fees are 𝗡𝗢𝗡-𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘. We will accommodate up to one reschedule request. Requests for rescheduling can be made up to 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 before a scheduled class. In some cases we may offer transferring ownership of registration with notice before a class begins. All appointments begin and end on time so that the next client is not delayed. If a client is more than 30 minutes late, we may require that the appointment be considered a cancellation. We regret that late arrivals will not receive an extension of the scheduled appointment time. Refund Policy *Class fees are 𝗡𝗢𝗡-𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘. Refunds may consider under the following circumstances: - Personal illness that prevents the student from working with clay or at the studio. A physician’s note may be required as proof. - Instances of extreme, unexpected hardship. Examples include death or serious illness of someone close.
